This is a spinning ballerina optical illusion. (This is a GIF, and I broke down the frames, the gif is just a replay of the ballerina spinning in one direction.)
Your brain is split into two different parts, the right and left.
The left side is your logical side, it deals with numbers, connections, puzzles, words, spelling, more school-dominated.
Your right side is your creative side, which is self explanatory. It deals with colors, art, music, ideas, etc.
Which way do you see the ballerina spinning? Clockwise, or counterclockwise?
If you see the ballerina spinning in a clockwise direction, you are left brained. You are more logical than creative, and use your left brain more than your right.
If you see the ballerina spinning counterclockwise direction, you are right brained. You are creative and full of ideas, and most likely create music or art.
Most people only see the ballerina spin in one direction and it keeps going in that direction. It just keeps spinning, and spinning, and spinning.
But what about making it spin both ways…?
Using all of your brain power, you can successfully make the ballerina turn the opposite way, and back again, and back again, and back again.
Remember how your left side of your brain is logical? Well, to make it spin in a clockwise direction, think of numbers, words, reading. Do simple math problems in your head.
If you want to make the ballerina spin in a counterclockwise direction, think of colors. Say in your head rhymes, like “Birds of a feather, flap together”. Or think of music, lyrics, art.
Now tell me, can you make it spin both ways? Are you left brained or right brained?
